I am far from a professional scheduler and just use this software to develop ‘best guess’ engineering schedules of overall project durations to assist clients with establishing their general project timelines for heavy civil construction projects on the large scale. I do like your recommendation for use of emos inlieu of months or days. Thanks for that suggestion! I have modified the display settings for individual bars, but have not altered the styles. This schedule, for some reason, does not appear to be responding to those changes however.

I have repaired the installation previously in attempt to fix this issue to no avail. Do the bars now appear? If you do the latter, how does it look in print preview? Use the organiser to recover the original Gantt chart view from the global template. Go to file, organiser, and copy the Gantt chart view from the global. Now, you can’t do this while the Gantt chart view is the currently active view in your file, so first switch to any other view. Estimate durations and lag in working days rather than weeks and months.

It is is easier to read, less ambiguous etc. Interesting, I don’t do printing so I never really “pressed the envelope” to see what it can and cannot do. Although many users use Project for its Gantt Chart presentation but the application is not very flexible with graphical presentation.
